Transcription and Summary-Writing Service
Our transcriptionists have typing speeds of at least 60wpm, and all our transcriptions are checked for accuracy
before they are returned to the client. We can produce verbatim or edited transcriptions, and also offer a comprehensive and accurate summary writing service.
We have transcribed interviews, lectures, seminars, meetings and podcasts, on subjects that include finance, medicine and industry; and we are currently working with the National Coal Mining Museum, transcribing interviews with ex-miners for the museum's oral history library.
Our transcription team is based in Sheffield and we are all native English speakers, but we work with clients around the world and are able to use US English spelling.
Your Recordings
We are able to work from any of the main audio formats, and can accept mp3 files via email or as downloads from your company site. In all cases, confidentiality is absolutely assured.
Audio-Copying Service
We also offer a high quality and confidential audio-copying service, with audio material copied from any of the main formats to mp3 format or archival or public access CD(s).
Our Rates
To transcribe and check through a one audio hour recording usually takes 4-5 hours, and we therefore charge £75. Recordings of low quality will invariably take longer than this, but our rates are fixed and clients are not charged more in these cases.
